Automatic Window Awning.

Despite the name this Awning isn’t actually motorised. Yes, a bit unusual but accurate as it takes its name from the really clever automatic locking mechanism it has. If you need to shade your windows from direct sunlight, without sacrificing fresh air and gentle breezes then the Automatic Window Awning is for you. Ideal for ground floor locations.

This Awning style is fixed to the wall and is adjusted by guiding the arms up and down the rails, automatically locking into position when the arms are released in a 90 degree position – see we told you, clever don’t you think? The angled design sits out from the window, allowing airflow while maintaining privacy and protection from sun and heat.

Longer side arms increase the Awning’s angled projection from the window which provides a larger air pocket allowing the Awning to work more efficiently and let fresh air in to cool the home.

When retracted, the fabric is protected year-round by a powder coated steel hood that can be colour matched to the façade.

Expect superior performance year after year thanks to our mouldings, sourced from the engineering industry, which give outstanding strength and longevity.

Fixed Guide Window Awning.

If you’ve been thinking about motorised Window Awnings then you’ll be delighted with our Fixed Guide Window Awning.

This is an ideal outdoor Awning for homes with high, hard to reach windows. It can be operated with a spring, manual crank or Automated so you can control your Awnings with the touch of a button from inside your home.

Similar to the Automatic Window Awning, the angled design protrudes from the window, inviting breezes while maintaining privacy and protection from sun and heat.

Straight Drop Window Awning.

A sleek and simple design with a contemporary look, this is similar to a Blind.

A Straight Drop Window Awning does not protrude and is therefore ideal for windows in areas with limited space or for the sides of decks, verandas or patios.

It can be operated with a spring, manual crank or Automated and uses no guides making it ideal for sun/UV protection, airflow or where fixed arms or guides are not possible. It is the perfect Awning to select if posts, pillars or walls are not available for the installation of the guides.

The Straight Drop is the only Window Awning style that can be used for both Window Awnings or as a cost-effective Alfresco Awning. A hood is used instead of a headbox and a different base rail to the Straight Drop Alfresco Awning is used.

This Awning is simply locked into position using dog clips/saddles or straps/saddles to secure it in place.

VIEW AUTOMATION

Flexibility is key, so our motors are developed with several settings which can be engaged or turned off at any time. They include a tension setting so the Awning is installed nice and taut, an impact setting to prevent objects from damaging the Awning or motor whilst in motion and best of all, a favourites setting so with a touch of the button all Awnings can be raised or lowered to the exact same position. Attention to detail and symmetry are a big deal!

Our motorisation range includes battery operated or hard wired motors and can be integrated with our Solar Powered Wind and Sun Sensor so Awnings can conveniently adjust automatically.

*Automation is not available for Automatic Window Awnings.

Outdoor Awnings

Spring operated

Easy to use, spring operation means the Awning is constantly under tension and requires clips, straps, automatic arms or to be tiered off to prevent the Awning retracting.

Outdoor Awnings

Manual Crank operated

The manual crank operation is designed to take the weight out of lifting the Awning. The crank gears have a ratio of 3.5:1 and 9:1 making it easier for a person of any age to lift and lower the Awning.

“Living in the country where summers are hot and muggy, investing in Window Awnings was the best decision. Even when it's over 35 degrees outside, our home stays cool, reducing the need to run the air conditioning all day.”

— Matthew, Window Awnings.
