Austrian and Festoon Blinds are a soft and elegant way to dress your windows.

A more traditional style of window covering, they combine the fullness and drape of a Curtain with the functionally of a Blind.

When raised the Austrian Blind creates a beautiful ballooning effect and when lowered the wide scalloped pleats add a truly decorative feature to a room.

Festoons are similar in design but the fabric is gathered on both edges of the fabric drop as well as the bottom, increasing the fullness. Festoons are also only suitable for sheer , voile or uncoated fabrics.

A soft and elegant Blind, it has a full and voluminous appearance with a scalloped edge. It is particularly suited to a Heritage or Federation home.

Flat Austrian

This is a very soft and easy style which is flatter in appearance giving a more contemporary and less fussy look. Suitable for modern or traditional homes.

Standard Festoon

Similar to an Austrian Blind, a Festoon Blind consists of vertical rows of horizontally gathered fabric that form a ruched effect. It originated at the beginning of the 18th century and is particularly suited to the Georgian interior period or older homes.
