- When should I request a quote?
Request an estimated quote when you have received final plans for your apartment or house from your architect, builder or developer. Final plans will ensure we can be as accurate as possible for you.
When your build is finished, an Interior Consultant will visit and undertake a free check-measure to ensure you receive a final quote that offers the best possible price. This allows them to assess your windows in detail and note any variations to the plan that may have occurred on site during the build. Sometimes this assessment may result in the estimated quote increasing or decreasing.
- Do you charge for this service?
We provide this service free of charge and you are under no obligation to proceed. We offer this service to customers within the serviceable area of our store locations.
- Will the estimated quote be accurate?
Even though the estimated quote will be based on the final plans provided by you, it is indicative only as often things can change daily on site, especially when it comes to dimensions! This is why we like to double check everything we do and a final check-measure is done.
- How will you know what product options, fabrics, and colours I would like?
Once you receive your estimated quote, you are welcome to visit a dollar curtains + blinds store and receive expert advice on what will suit your windows. Every store has a wide range of fabrics – in every possible colour and style – as well as product options making it easy for you to see what is available.
The check-measure visit allows you to spend time with an Interior Consultant to either choose what you would like or to confirm the choices previously made. Every Interior Consultant carries a wide range of fabric and product options and would be happy to explain the best options for your windows.
- If my construction changes, even slightly, do I need a new quote?
In short, yes. We pride ourselves on accuracy and would be happy to offer you a new estimated quote free of charge.
