With the windows facing east, protecting the inside of the home from the harsh sunlight was essential so Basswood Shutters were chosen.
Constructed from premium Basswood timber, the Shutters offer high UV protection and insulation properties and are tested to endure the harshest temperatures of the Australian sun. In the bay window the blades are easily adjusted to re-direct the light away from the upholstered seating to prevent fading of the furniture.
The Shutters were installed with no corner gaps, allowing for complete protection from UV damage.
The small projection on the Shutters is ideal in this space and in the hallways, as it ensures the window coverings intrude as little as possible into the interiors.
