Cellular Blind Features.

Durable fabric.

Made with dust-repellent, anti-static and UV-resistant fabrics for easy maintenance, your Honeycomb Shades’ pleats never collapse and remain structured over time. Beware of inferior imitations that do not last the distance!

Stringent quality control + testing.

Cellular Shades undergo stringent product lifecycle testing which includes functionality, longevity, cleanability, and so much more. This ensures that they will still look and function perfectly in years to come.

Smooth + innovative operating options.

A versatile range of innovative lifting systems suitable for various window styles, skylights and shapes.

Minimal light gaps.

The headrail has been cleverly designed to ensure minimal light gaps with only a 5mm light gap at each end, and the brush insert creates a complete seal at the top to block out light. This makes them perfect for nurseries, children’s rooms and bedrooms. A standard Roller Blind has approximately 15mm light gaps at each end and an incomplete light seal at the top, so Thermal Honeycomb Blinds are far superior.

Larger spans.

Usually larger windows require more than one Blind to be linked together. Honeycomb Window Blinds are one of the only true window covering solutions for large windows, easily handling widths of just over 4m wide in a single Blind.

FAQs.

Are Cellular Pleated Blinds Worth the Investment in Australia?

Yes! Our Cellular energy saving Blinds save 46-48%* more on heating and cooling costs compared to Roller Blinds, making them ideal for helping the environment and long-term savings.

*Savings are based on installing fully-recessed, reveal-mounted 20mm single-cell blockout fabric in an average Sydney home, compared to the House Energy Rating of Roller Blinds from AccuRate. These calculations are independently modelled, and actual savings may vary depending on window type and installation.

What’s the Difference Between Single-Cell and Double-Cell Honeycomb Blinds?

Single-Cell Blinds have one layer of honeycomb cells, while Double-Cell Blinds have two, offering better home insulation. This means Double-Cell Blinds are more effective at reducing heat and minimising noise.

Do Cellular Honeycomb Blinds Provide Complete Blockout?

Yes, you can get Blockout Honeycomb Blinds. The standard or “light filtering” options do not offer full blockout, while blockout versions are designed for ultimate light and privacy control.

Can Honeycomb Cellular Blinds Be Motorised or Automated?

Yes, our Cellular Blinds can be automated, allowing for control via remote, voice command, or the dc+b smartphone app.

How Do I Clean and Maintain Cellular Shades?

Cellular + Honeycomb Blinds are not particularly difficult to keep clean. You can use a soft brush attachment on your vacuum cleaner to gently remove any dust or debris that has accumulated. Alternatively, you can use a feather duster or microfibre cloth to wipe them down. For deeper cleaning, you can use a damp cloth with mild soap and water to gently scrub the surface of the shades.

It’s important to avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the fabric and shorten the lifespan of the shades. Additionally, be careful not to crush or flatten the pleats of the shades while cleaning them, as this can affect their insulating properties. If something does manage to sneak into one of the cells, simply blow the inside with a hairdryer set on cool.
