Automate® battery-powered motors are the perfect solution for existing households wishing to upgrade to the convenience of motorised window coverings. This solution allows you to charge the motor batteries over time with a charger, and can operate with one charger across multiple window coverings or utilising several chargers. We recommend charging once every six months for window coverings that are operated twice a day.
Our battery-powered motors are available across our Automated indoor and outdoor window covering range including Curtains, Roller Blinds, Roman Blinds, Cellular Blinds and Outdoor Window Awnings, Zipscreens and Alfresco Awnings.
Our market-leading Roller Blind rechargeable motors include built-in lithium-ion batteries and do not require wired power or space for external battery packs. Using the 4m wall charger cable, simply plug the charger into your battery-operated Roller Blind or Curtain, and then into a powerpoint.
Did you know? We have the ability to fit our Roller Blind battery operated 1.1 and 2.0 motors to your existing Roller Blinds with our retro-fit service. Retrofit capability is possible with RB09 systems.
A wall charger is available for battery operated Roller Blinds and Curtains. Our Automate® Solar Panel can also provide renewable power, see more below!
Our Roller Blind Magnetic Wand Control features a battery operated motor and removable wand that conveniently doubles as a charging point via a USB-C port. The magnetic wand motor is not compatible with the Pulse PRO or Automate controls.
Roman Blinds + Cellular Blinds
A wall charger is connected to the battery pack and powerpoint for continuous power, or is used to charge the battery pack.
Window Awnings + Zipscreens + Alfresco Awnings
For our battery operated Awning motor, easily recharge using our Outdoor Solar Panel or a USB-C Port Extension mounted in a convenient location. The motor will hold charge for up to 12 months and fully recharges within 7 hours.
Use the sun to your advantage with our Automate® Solar Panel, available for our battery operated 5V Roller Blinds and Curtains. Renewable power means motors stay running for longer, without the need for regular charging.
It’s always good to plan ahead with a renovation or new build because you can then hardwire the motors for your Automated window coverings giving you the ability to set and forget. Suitable for medium to large windows and large commercial projects, Automation is cabled into your home giving it a continuous source of electricity.
Not renovating or building but prefer this option? No problem. You can still hardwire the Automated window coverings into your existing home so you can set and forget too! Our hardwired motors are available across our Automated indoor and outdoor window covering range including Curtains, Roller Blinds, Roman Blinds, and Outdoor Window Awnings, Zipscreens and Alfresco Awnings.
Once you have placed your order, we will supply Molex cables with an instruction sheet. These should be given to your preferred Electrician so the cables can be installed prior to the installation of your window coverings.
Our Solar Powered Wind and Sun Sensor measures wind and light intensity to automatically open your Awning once sunlight is detected to provide convenient shading and close in windy conditions to protect and preserve your Awning.
Imagine entertaining outdoors on a bright sunny day, the sun intensity and need for shade increasing. You can be rest assured knowing that your motorised Awning, connected to our sensor, will activate the Awning to close achieving the optimal level of shade. This occurs when a pre-set lux level is reached, signalling to the Awning that it needs to open and provide shade.
Never worry about the battery depleting with a built-in solar panel that keeps the battery charged for optimum functionality. The sensor can be mounted to the roof, wall, eave or fascia, to suit your requirements.
