We’re Kasey and Bradley, living our best life together in a little country town called Ballan, just outside of Daylesford in regional Victoria. Bradley owns his own building company, Keibra Homes, and I (Kasey) work for a volume builder while running my own Interior Design business on the side. It’s a busy life, but we wouldn’t have it any other way!
We’re both big foodies, so you’ll often find us exploring local spots and dining out whenever we can. At home, we’ve got a full house of fur babies – Kevin, Audrey, Justine, and Rusty. Honestly, they run the place. We’re just along for the ride!
The heart of the home, the kitchen, is a class white-on-white design with subway tiles. It’s the perfect blend of country while keeping it modern to appeal to anyones taste. I actually can’t imagine parting with it now!
How did you find the measure + install service?
It definitely was. I visited the Geelong showroom since I was living there at the time, and I had something very specific in mind. I went through countless fabric samples before finally finding the perfect one.
Being in the showroom was so helpful – I got to see the Curtain Tracks and Rods in person and properly understand how they operate. This was incredibly beneficial, especially since the design I was going for was something I hadn’t previously used in an of our other build/design projects.

What is your favourite room and why?
Our favourite room is definitely the combined kitchen, dining, and living area. It’s the heart of our home and where we spend most of our time. This space features beautiful furniture, cherished keepsakes, family photos, and lovely garden views. And – of course, our new Curtains and Shutters complete the look perfectly.
What are the 3 most important things that make your house feel like a home?
What are your top 3 design/style tips for renovating a house?
Firstly, prioritise functionality in every space. Beautiful design should not sacrifice practicality, especially in high-traffic areas like kitchens or bathrooms.
Secondly, choose durable materials, but also ensure they align with your style vision. Incorporate a mix of textures, like wood, stone, metal, and textiles, to create depth and visual interest. This layering brings warmth and character to a space, making it feel more lived-in and inviting.
Thirdly, start with a neutral palette for walls and large furniture pieces, then introduce colour through accessories, art, or smaller decor items. This allows flexibility to change styles over time without major renovations while still creating a cosy, polished look.
You’re given a limited renovation budget. How would you spend it wisely to transform a home?
With a limited renovation budget, I’d focus on making smart, high-impact choices. I’d prioritise the most used or visible areas, like the kitchen or living room. A few key updates in these spaces, such as lighting or fixtures, can significantly change the overall feel of the home.
A fresh coat of paint in neutral tones can instantly transform any room without breaking the bank. Small changes, like updating cabinet hardware or faucets, can also give spaces a modern, refreshed look. I’d choose a few timeless furniture pieces or decor items that can make a big impact. Adding texture with items like pillows, rugs, or throws is a simple, affordable way to make the space feel more complete and inviting.

I am all the things! How can you choose one over the other…
Some people find it difficult to decide what to do with their windows. Any tips?
I absolutely love watching home tours on YouTube! There are so many incredible homes showcased that offer endless inspiration. Of course, like many, I turn to Instagram and Pinterest for fresh ideas. One of my biggest sources of inspiration is traveling through Europe. There’s something truly magical about experiencing the design and charm of different European spaces firsthand.
