The dollar curtains + blinds story began in 1967. Today we're still a proud family business.

Styles of window coverings come and go, but there’s one thing that will never change: our commitment to deliver value in every dollar.

Our business began in 1967 in outer suburban Melbourne, selling Curtain fabric for a dollar by the metre. Since then, we’ve grown to become one of the country’s most trusted names in Curtains, Blinds, Shutters and Awnings, with more than 30 stores nationwide and a growing team of over 350 dedicated people.

Australian National University

The Australian National University is a national research university located in Canberra. Its main campus in Acton encompasses seven teaching and research colleges, in addition to several national academies and institutes. dollar curtains + blinds worked closely with the University in the renovation of the complex with the first stage of the installation completed in 2020 and the second stage in 2021. Designed, manufactured and professionally installed across the university:

DEEWR Development

One of Canberra’s most significant commercial developments, the $280 million DEEWR HQ building achieved the highest attainable 6 Green Star – Office Design V2 and 5.5 Star NABERS energy rating. Australian Institute of Sport

The Australian Institute of Sport is a high-performance sports training institution in Australia. The Institute’s headquarters were opened in 1981, with a 66-hectare site campus situated in the northern suburb of Bruce. Designed, manufactured and professionally installed across the institute:

Calvary John James Hospital

Calvary John James Private Hospital is a large complex covering 4 hectares offering an extensive range of services including private maternity unit, special care nursery and the only purpose-built private rehabilitation unit in the ACT. Yarram Health Centre

Located in Gippsland, Victoria, the Yarram and District Integrated Healthcare Centre knits together the medicinal precinct of local hospital, aged care and allied health services. The Integrated Healthcare Centre is one of Yarram’s few new public buildings and cost $5.93 million. Designed, manufactured and professionally installed across the centre:
